October is upon on us. Octobers Very Own. Halloween Gang. If you’re a Drake fan, its always a fun month… especially if your birthday is in October (like me). This year, October could be especially fun. Because late this summer Drake announced his upcoming studio album Certified Lover Boy. While no official date is out there, there are rumors that it could come sometime this month.
And what is possibly even more exciting is that for the first time ever, the merchandise for the album will be entirely Nike gear. Care packages have gone out to a number of celebrities and let me tell you, the clothes are FIIIIIIRE. Here are a few pictures of what Drake has posted in care packages/I’ve seen so far:
It’s been a while since Drake and Nike have done something together. We’ve seen OVO x Jordan collabs in the past, but this is the first Drake x Nike collab and the first ever tied to one of his albums. There are consistent symbols and themes through every item – the kiss mark on the hat, the hearts on the socks, the rose on the sweatshirt, the cherub on the t-shirt and the hearts embroidered on the bomber jacket. I’m definitely excited to try to grab some gear. I know it’s going to go fast.
